Terms of Sale & Use

These terms govern the purchase and use of Dom-shot from SIA "Tech Dev Baltic". Buying a license, or using the software, means you accept them.

1Who you are contracting with

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean SIA "Tech Dev Baltic", and "you" means the person or organisation buying or using Dom-shot.

2What Dom-shot is

Dom-shot is a Windows desktop application that opens web dashboards in an automated browser, captures them as images on a schedule you define, and delivers those images to a destination you configure — a folder, a shared drive, an Azure DevOps wiki, or email.

It runs entirely on your own machine. We do not host it, we do not operate it for you, and we have no access to what it captures. It requires Windows 10 or Windows 11.

3Free trial

We offer a free trial license valid for 7 days from issue. It is the complete product with no feature restrictions. No payment details are required, and it does not convert into a paid license or charge you anything when it ends — it simply stops working.

Trials are intended as one per person or organisation, for the purpose of evaluating the software. We may decline to issue further trials where that is clearly not what is happening.

4Price, tax and payment

A Dom-shot Business License costs €199 per machine, per year, excluding VAT. VAT is added on top where it applies, so the total shown at checkout — which is what you actually pay — may be higher than €199.

• VAT is applied where required by law, based on your location and whether you supply a valid VAT number. Stripe calculates it and shows it before you confirm.
• Payment is taken by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
• An invoice is issued automatically and sent to the email address you provide.
• Prices may change for future purchases, but never for a license you have already bought.

For three or more machines, write to support@techdevbaltic.lv and we will quote you.

5Delivery

Your license file is generated and emailed to you automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed — normally within a minute. The software itself is a separate download available at getdomshot.com/download, and does not require a license to download.

If your license has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email support@techdevbaltic.lv and we will re-send it. A missing email is never a lost purchase — we hold the record of your order.

6What your license allows

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Dom-shot on one machine for one year from the date of issue, for your own internal business or personal purposes.

You may not:

• resell, sublicense, rent, lease or redistribute Dom-shot;
• run Dom-shot as a paid service, managed service or reporting service on behalf of third parties;
• share your license file outside your organisation;
• remove or obscure copyright, license or attribution notices;
• claim ownership of Dom-shot or of derivative commercial rights in it.

Dom-shot is licensed, not sold. We retain all intellectual property rights in the software. The full license text is included with the software in the LICENSE file, and where a separately signed commercial agreement exists between us, that agreement takes precedence over these terms.

7Expiry and renewal

Your license runs for one year and then stops working. Scheduled runs cease; nothing is deleted. Your configuration files and every screenshot Dom-shot has already captured stay exactly where they are on your machine, and remain yours.

There is no automatic renewal. We do not keep your card on file and we cannot charge you again without you choosing to buy. To continue, buy another year at the price current at that time. Dom-shot displays your expiry date every time it runs.

8Refunds and withdrawal

We would genuinely like to hear what went wrong first — a large share of refund requests for a tool like this are a configuration problem we can fix in ten minutes. But the refund does not depend on you letting us try.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Once refunded, your license is withdrawn and you must stop using the software.

If you are a consumer

If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, EU law gives you a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Because we deliver your license file immediately, you are asked to agree to immediate delivery at the point of purchase, which under EU law would normally end that statutory right once delivery has begun. Our 14-day money-back guarantee above is offered regardless, so you are no worse off either way.

9Acceptable use

Dom-shot logs into systems and captures what it sees. That is a capability you must use responsibly. By using it you confirm that:

• you are authorised to access every dashboard, page and account you configure it to capture;
• you have the right to use any credentials you supply to it;
• your use does not breach the terms of service or access controls of the systems being captured;
• your use complies with applicable law, including data protection law where captured dashboards contain personal data;
• you will not use Dom-shot to scrape, monitor or harvest systems belonging to others without permission.

You are the controller of whatever Dom-shot captures on your machine. We never see it and cannot be responsible for it. Using Dom-shot against systems you do not have permission to access is a breach of these terms and may be unlawful.

10Support and updates

Support is provided by email at support@techdevbaltic.lv. We aim to reply within two business days. We are a small company, not a 24/7 operation, and we do not offer a contractual response-time guarantee unless one is agreed in writing.

Product updates released during your license year are included at no extra cost, and are available from the download page.

Dashboards change. If a target system changes in a way that breaks capture, we will make reasonable efforts to adapt Dom-shot, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every dashboard or authentication system, now or in future.

11Warranty disclaimer

Except where a separate paid agreement says otherwise, Dom-shot is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and compatibility with every dashboard or authentication system.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use Dom-shot.

Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us for Dom-shot in the 12 months before the claim arose, or €100 if you paid us nothing.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13Termination

Your license ends when its term expires, when you request and receive a refund, or if you materially breach these terms — in particular the acceptable use and redistribution restrictions. On termination you must stop using Dom-shot and delete your license file. Sections 9 through 12 survive termination.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms that apply to you are the ones published when you bought your license, and we will not change them retroactively to your disadvantage during a license term you have already paid for.

15Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, and disputes fall to the courts of Latvia. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country, and you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
